BiBQ

Join us in the park for a community barbecue…

4th August 2018, Highbury Fields

BiBQ is a relaxed and informal DIY barbeque and picnic. It’s run by Biscuit, but it’s open to people of all genders and sexualities.

Bring food and drink to share or keep, outdoor games, something nice to sit on and plenty of sunblock.

Children and families are welcome.

Highbury Fields has a dedicated barbequing area. You’ll find us there, near Queen’s Walk, and you’ll be able to spot us by our bi flag. For up to the minute location information, check out our twitter feed.

The nearest tube and train stations are Highbury and Islington, and the park is served by bus routes 4, 19, 30, 43, 271, 277 and 393

Good to know…

  • Please use a stand if you’re bringing a disposable barbeque, and water to extinguish it
  • Biscuit requires anyone attending our events to abide by our code of conduct
  • You’re not allowed to barbeque in Highbury Fields after 9pm
  • Please use the dedicated barbeque disposal bins provided
  • Disabled access information can be found on disabledgo.com
  • Public toilets are located by the tennis courts and cost 20p

We can’t wait to see you there!

Libby is a 30-something Londoner, who spends more time reading picture books than is seemly. She became a bi activist entirely by accident, but now she can't imagine living any other way. In the event of an emergency, she'll have a large gin and tonic, thanks.
